Some members of Neffs also serve on North Whitehall Rescue, a medium rescue co. that serves North Whitehall and surrounding townships. North Whitehall's rescue team is comprised of members from all the township's departments. A couple members are also serving on Lehigh County Technical Rescue Team. Most members are trained to at least First Responder with several EMT's and Paramedics also serving the local BLS/ALS ambulance service. While the Neffs area could still be considered rural, it is rapidly becoming suburban with the addition of many housing developments and commercial space.
