Community Day School is an independent K-8 Jewish day school serving the western Pennsylvania community. Its curriculum includes English language, science, Spanish, social studies, mathematics, performing and visual arts, and music. It offers a Judaica program that includes a detailed study of the Bible, and Jewish values, traditions and history. The students in kindergarten and first grade learn Bible through storytelling, drama and art activities. It also provides a wide range of extracurricular and sports programs. The school has a parent-teacher organization to support the work of the school system, including enrichment programs, special events and projects. The school is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary Schools, and Pennsylvania Association of Private Academic Schools.
