Youth Advocate Programs is a private, nonprofit human service agency that focuses on nonresidential, community-based programming for youth and families since 1975. Its services include programs for pre- and post-adjudicated children and youth; after care programs for individuals returning from placement; services for dependent youth and their families; and school-based programs and in-school alternatives. Its other services include medical assistance funded mobile therapy, services for autistic children and family outpatient clinics. It also offers programs, such as independent living and life skills, supported work, behavioral health, homebuilders and wraparound. Youth Advocate Programs is based in Harrisburg, Pa., and provides services in New Jersey, New York, Texas, Ohio, Florida, South Carolina, Arizona, Louisiana and Washington, D.C.
