ESF Summer Day Camp in Philadelphia is considered a leader in children s summer camps. Michael Rouse and Bill Rouse founded the company in 1982. The idea for ESF, which means for education, sports, and fun, was carefully planned programs and facilities and its emphasis on individual achievement in a family atmosphere. The day camps are designed for children ages four to eight with activities including swimming, sports, project discovery, arts and crafts, world tour, and creative and performing arts. Sports camps are available for athletes and feature a different sport each week. For boys and girls ages nine to 15, the company s senior camps offer swimming, sports, art and true-life adventures.

Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania serves over 50,000 girls between the ages of 5 and 17 in Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania. The organization is a part of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, which is a youth organization for girls in the United States and American girls living abroad. Founded in 1912, the parent organization is based on the scouting principles developed by Robert Baden-Powell.
