Operational for more than 100 years, Hinkle's Pharmacy Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its menu features a variety of soups, desserts, snacks and beverages. Hinkle s Pharmacy Restaurant opened in 1893 and featured a 10-stool soda fountain. Today, the restaurant has more than 10 booths and over 30 counter seats. In its founding years the restaurant served only sodas, ice cream and sandwiches. It currently offers a complete homestyle menu. The restaurant is located in Columbia, Pa., and offers various take-out options. It is owned and operated Hinkle's Pharmacy, a supplier of a range of medical equipment. It is a member of the National Community Pharmacy Association. Hinkle s Pharmacy also operates a gift shop that sells jewelry, silk flowers, artificial floral arrangements, toys and gift items for the holiday season.
