Jackson Elementary School

Roosevelt Middle School enrolls more than 450 students in grades six through eight and offers a range of educational and extracurricular programs. The school offers a range of extended day programs, such as accelerated math, homework club and academic probation to students who are in need of additional educational opportunities. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as scholastic writing contests, family night school events, school yearbook, student council, field trips, and art and poetry clubs. The school s campus includes classrooms, an automated library, computerized math laboratory, music education rooms, private counseling areas, and computer and science laboratories. Williamsport Area High School offers a curriculum for students in grades nine through 12. The school is located in Williamsport, Pa., and is affiliated with the Williamsport Area School District. It has an enrollment of more than 1,800 students and offers a wide range of courses, including English, literature, foreign language, consumer mathematics, algebra, advanced placement calculus, statistics, geometry, trigonometry, astronomy, physics, chemistry, biology, social studies, vocational and industrial arts, fine and visual arts, and health and physical education classes. It also offers a library and media center, computer laboratory, planetarium for astronomy and meteorology courses, a fully equipped science laboratory and music and arts rooms. Curtin Middle School, located in Williamsport, Pa., is affiliated to the Williamsport Area School District. The school was founded in 1874 and offers various educational and cocurricular programs for students. Its programs include student council, visual arts competitions, intramural sports, school yearbook, theater production and charity fund- raising activities. Curtin Middle School also offers programs including music, concert band, orchestra, chorus, jazz band, math counts competition, odyssey of the mind teams, peer mediation and juvenile probation officer. The school offers facilities and services, including library, computer and science labs, school store and family and consumer sciences labs.
