Rockwood Area School District provides education to more than 900 students of grades kindergarten through 12. The school district has a wide academic curriculum that includes several subjects, such as English, mathematics, science, business, computers and social studies. It also provide classes in art, music, practical arts, foreign languages, and health and physical education. The district also offers extracurricular activities, including hunting, fishing, hiking and skiing. It additionally provide several sports, such as basketball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, football, baseball, and swimming and diving. The district library has a wide collection of fiction and nonfiction books, dictionaries, encyclopedias and newspapers for both students and teachers.
