West Mifflin Area Middle School serves more than 700 students in grades six through eight. Located in West Mifflin, Pa., the school offers classes in computer concepts, English, music, reading, art, social studies and science. Its curriculum also includes various subjects, such as mathematics, consumer science, health, physical education and German. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes various extracurricular activities and fundraising events. Its library offers a collection of encyclopedias, fiction and nonfiction books, textbooks, newspapers, atlases, magazines and dictionaries. The school is a part of the West Mifflin Area School District, which also operates Clara Barton Elementary, New Emerson Elementary and West Mifflin Area High School.
