Founded in 1984, the Family Support Line of Delaware County is a county department that provides support and prevention services related to sexual abuse and neglect. The department offers treatment and educational services. Located in Media, Pa., it conducts workshops and seminars on topics, such as money management, social development, and confidence and sensitivity development. In addition, the Family Support Line of Delaware County provides volunteering and individual and group counseling services. The department hosts various fundraising events, such as live and silent auctions. The Family Support Line of Delaware County administers life skills program that includes case management and transportation services for teenagers who are in foster care.
