Dr. Daniel Williams is a board-certified internal medicine physician at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Williams is passionate about providing adult primary care services with a clinical interest in preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and shared decision-making focused on patient health care goals. Dr. Williams is originally from Ohio. He did his undergraduate schooling at the University of Notre Dame, where he majored in biology. After graduation, Dr Williams earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences and joined the United States Army, where he served for seven years. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Following residency, he served a year as Chief Resident before moving to Fort Liberty, NC. Highlights from his time at Fort Liberty include serving as teaching faculty for the internal medicine residency program and an overseas deployment providing medical care to Afghan refugees.
