Murrells Inlet Map
Murrells Inlet is a small fishing village in Georgetown County, South Carolina, United States that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina". The population was 5,519 at the 2000 census. It was once primarily a fishing village, but has grown substantially in modern time, along with the rest of the Grand Strand into a popular tourist and retirement location. It is most known for Restaurant Row, a cluster of award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants on its Main Street. There is also a local island in the inlet named Goat Island.
