South Dakota Public Broadcasting is a statewide public broadcasting network and is a community resource that produces and broadcasts commercial-free programs and valuable community outreach projects that educate, enlighten and entertain people. It broadcasts more than 150 hours of local programming each year and over 65 hours of education children s programming every week. South Dakota Public Broadcasting s programs are aired on various television channels and radio stations. In addition to archiving all Television and Radio programs, its Web site offers full coverage of the South Dakota State Legislature and all South Dakota High School Activities Association-sanctioned tournaments. South Dakota Public Broadcasting has nearly 50 employees and is funded by audience, the state of South Dakota and federal sources.
