Founded in 1968, Central Elementary School is a learning center that provides academic programs to students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It offers classes in reading, writing, math, science, English, social studies, physical education, music and art. The school provides Title 1 and reading recovery programs for gifted and talented students. It maintains a library that provides curriculum-related materials and a variety of leisure reading options for students.
