Sturgis Brown High School is a public school that provides academic and career and technical education, and credit and noncredit courses to students in grades nine through 12. The school s curriculum includes English, language arts, United State history, geography, foreign languages, mathematics, science and social studies. Sturgis Brown High School has a library that provides a large collection of curriculum books, novels, online catalogues, electronic resources. It also organizes various extracurricular activities, such as art, music, band, gymnastics, and dance and debate competitions. Additionally, the school provides counseling services and the National Honor Society and Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program. It provides various sports activities, including football, wrestling, basketball, golf and tennis. The high school, located in Sturgis, S.D., enrolls more than 800 students and is a part of the Meade School District 46-1.
