Monument Health Spearfish Clinic, North 10th Street is a primary care, family medicine clinic that provides comprehensive care for the entire family through all phases of life, from childhood to senior years. A Monument Health Home+ Pharmacy is located alongside the clinic. Our North 10th Street clinic offers Genius 3D Mammography, a technology that improves early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Using three-dimensional technology, radiologists can better detect breast cancer deep within the tissue. A 3D exam finds 20 to 65 percent more of invasive breast cancers where early detection is critical to recovery. With 3D's clarity and depth, fewer patients will have to return for second mammograms.

Kayla Hatten is a CNP in General Surgery at Spearfish Clinic. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Mount Marty University in Yankton, SD. Kayla had previously obtained an Exercise Science degree from Black Hills State University and then a Nursing degree from the University of South Dakota.Born and raised in the Black Hills, from a young age Kayla admired the work provided in the medical field and set a goal to pursue a career as a Nurse Practitioner. Initially working in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Kayla wanted to become more vested in the care and treatment of those that she had served in the community in which she was raised and was thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to those that helped mentor, support and develop her throughout the years. As part of a team, Kayla can now further deliver personalized support and care to each patient.In her spare time, Kayla enjoys being outdoors, watching her children in their extracurricular activities, cuddling with her dogs, spending time with friends and adventuring with her family. Kayla and her husband share three amazing sons and are incredibly thankful for the community in which the boys will be raised.
