Community Alliance for the Homeless (CAFTH) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to ending homelessness in Memphis and Shelby County. As the Lead Agency in the effort, CAFTH collaborates with public and private agencies to provide planning, technical assistance, and service coordination. Through their strategic plan, 901 Home, Together, CAFTH works towards the goal of ensuring that every individual and family has access to safe and permanent housing. With a focus on creating lasting solutions, CAFTH has successfully housed over 2,000 homeless families in a year, with less than 9 individuals returning to homelessness after being placed in permanent housing. Their commitment to ending homelessness is evident through their efforts in coordinating resources, conducting point-in-time counts, and providing support to service providers.
