On May 30, I got a call that my dog Marley was long story short, anemic and about to pass away. I had two dogs boarding with them bc I was abroad. Dr James and Dr Jenn went above and beyond to say a dogs life by giving blood transfusion, which was great. The next morning, my roommate went to go pick up the non-sick dog. To our surprise, the name cards on the crate had been switched and the other dog was switched. Long story short, the dog that was sick was actually my senior dog who has many medical conditions, which I had not relayed to the vet. The previous day, the vet had the wrongs dogs charts and was discussing past medical procedures with me. While I was very happy that the next day ONE of my dogs was better, wasn’t sure which one was better, I was very upset about the mos information exchanges between the vet and me. On talking to Dr. James, he told me that ‘’these things happen.’’ When I explained that money is an issue bc I could have saved money by not having tests done bc I have other relevant medical info, he became aggressive. I have the following on a recording: He yelled over the phone, told me I don’t have the mental capacity to hold a conversation, told me that I can just pick my sick dog up the next day and will pay my whole bill. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. We will be going to the news, and all of this could have been prevented by just listening and understanding why I am upset that my dogs who are completely different we’re switched up during an emergency, and in communicating with me.

My daughter took her cat here and they charged her $200 for testing and wanted to charge another $480 for extra testing. They told her the cat was collapsing due to old age and give it medication for the vomiting. The next morning her cat died. I’m not a vet and I knew her cat was dieing. THis vet is out to take advantage of people. They are all about money and not out to help your pet.
I have been taking my dogs and cats to Broadway Veterinary Clinic since 1983, even when the late Dr. Senter was there. My fur babies have always had excellent care.
