Harpeth Valley Utilities District is a nonprofit public utility, providing water and wastewater services to customers in Davidson, Williamson and Cheatham counties in Tennessee. Established in 1959, it provides drinking water services to more than 15,000 customers and wastewater service to over 12,000 people. It pumps more than 4 billion gallons of drinking water each year. It also treats more than 2 billion gallons of wastewater per year, utilizing more than 30 wastewater lift stations, and over 200 miles of wastewater lines. Harpeth Valley Utilities District is managed by a board of commissioners, and is headquartered in Nashville, Tenn.
