Opened in 1985, Fairview Elementary School provides educational services to more than 450 students in prekindergarten through grade eight. The school has a staff of over 55 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes special education teachers, art and music professionals, reading coaches, educational assistants, computer instructors, librarians and custodians. Fairview Elementary School teaches a variety of subjects, such as social studies, language arts, writing, spelling, reading, math, history, geography, literature, and physical and special education. It also provides coaching and training in several athletic activities, including football, basketball, soccer, cross country and cheerleading. Fairview Elementary School is operated by Scott County Schools and is located in Huntsville, Tenn.
