Heritage High School, located in Maryville, Tenn., offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 1,400 students and is affiliated with the Blount County School District. The school s curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social and business studies, computers, health and physical education, industrial arts and foreign languages. It offers various extracurricular activities to students, such as the National Honor Society, yearbook, arts, chorus, band and music. The sports activities offered by the school include football, volleyball, skiing, basketball, soccer, tennis, softball, baseball, golf and cheerleading. Heritage High School also has a planetarium that organizes sky shows for children and adults, and provides education about the galaxy, lunar landings, black holes and space technology.
