History
Tuning and repairing pianos has been my life for the last three decades. I am proud to be a member of the community and help to keep it filled with wonderful music and happy musicians with finely tuned instruments.
Specialties
We tune & repair pianos for Northside Independent School District, Trinity University, Carver Community Cultural Center, the Lila Cockrill Theatre, Monfrey Music, Pat O'Briens-Riverwalk & over 700 individual satisfied San Antonio customers. How often should my piano be serviced? - All of the piano manufacturers suggest that you tune your piano twice a year. The short answer is every six months or twice a year. This is one of the reasons my 6 month tuning rate is lower. Regular servicing by a qualified tuner/technician will preserve your instrument and help you avoid costly repair in the future. We have a 30 day guarantee. If you are not satisfied that your tuning is right, we will come back and make it right-free. We tune and fine tune as well as perform complete pitch corrections to A440. We use both natural and electronic tuning methods. We also do voicing and action regulation for consistent, optimal sound and playability. Hammers, strings, key-tops, we appraise and more.
Reviews
Steve does a great job piano tuning. He came to my house, took the time to make my old piano sound like new, and did it for a great price. He follows up to make sure everything is working great....
This guy is a theft and a crook. Paid Steve thousand dollars to replace ivory (plastic) on keys and tune my families piano. Steve performed the repair to the keys and now seven keys are sticking...
