About Chaffhaye During the 1920's, the British Royalty sent many horses around the world. In those days, the horses were fed the local feed of each host country, wreaking havoc on the respiratory and digestive systems of the animals. After one particularly bad episode, nutritionists were commissioned to develop a consistent feed product that could accommodate the horses' rigorous travel schedule. After much research, the nutritionists developed a unique forage product using whole blade grass, a kiss of molasses and compressed into specialty packaging to ensure a highly beneficial fermentation process.
