Gotta give the locals a shout out. I found my way to Billy's today, hoping to get some great local Texas BBQ. It's right off the 71 in Bastrop. I got a simple sliced brisket sandwich....

Texas BBQ ! Cmon now .... Really good stuff at this place! Reasonable, fresh, and delicious. I think their hot sausage is probably my favorite. Soo good ! Well done to thus crew.

Food was very good. Service was quick but friendly. Everything was packed up nicely so nothing spilled out.
