Bodycote has a network of more than 50 North American facilities. Bodycote offer Kolsterising, Oxycote and Lindure as its core brands. The company offers heat-treating and brazing, hot isostatic pressing, materials testing and metallurgical coatings. Some of the markets served by Bodycote include aerospace, architectural, automotive, construction, consumer products, defense, general engineering, medical, mining, oil and petrochemical, power generation, rail and tooling. Its parent company, Bodycote International PLC, delivers outsourcing for industry from more than 260 plants in 26 countries worldwide. The company takes its name from the Bodycote family, who in 1923 founded a textile company, GR Bodycote Limited, in Leicester, England, renowned for hosiery manufacture. Bodycote Thermal Processing holds its North American headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
