Bruce Foods Mexican food plant in El Paso, Texas, was founded in 1931 and pioneered the first canned Mexican foods. The company is one of the United States largest privately owned food manufacturers with four processing plants in the U.S., and an affiliated facility in The Netherlands and approximately 1,200 employees. Its products are distributed throughout the U.S. and in more than 100 countries by top retail grocery chains. Known for its famous Original Louisiana brand of hot pepper sauce, Bruce s yams and Casa Fiesta Mexican food items, the company manufactures more than 550 food products under nine brands.
