Community Hospice of Texas, located in Fort Worth, Texas is an independent, nonprofit, community-owned health care provider. It was founded in 1996 by the merger of three hospices, including Saint Joseph, Harris and Huguley, with the support of Arlington Memorial Hospital. The hospice is approved by the Texas Department of Human Services to provide hospice services, and is a member of the Texas Nonprofit Hospice Alliance. Its various services include nursing care, social, home health aides, physicians, pain and symptom management, and pharmacy services. Community Hospice of Texas also offers respite care, medical supplies, durable medical equipment, bereavement, pastoral counseling and several volunteer services.
