John Paul II Catholic School, established in 1988, is a private, nonprofit, independent Catholic school. Located in Houston, the school is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department. It offers enrollment to more than 600 students in prekindergarten through grade eight. Its curriculum includes Spanish, English, theology, math, science, social studies, music, art, computer technology and physical education. The school offers various activities, such as spelling and geography bees, oratorical competitions, chess, drama and science clubs, and choir group. It also offers various sports activities including football, track, baseball, softball, hockey, basketball, cross-country, golf, tennis, swimming and soccer. It also offers library and computer laboratory facilities and cafeteria service for its students.
