Gulf Electroquip provides AC and DC drilling motors, and generator supply, repair and parts primarily for the oil and gas industries. GEQ is an authorized repair facility for General Electric drilling motors and Kato Engineering AC generators. In relationship to GE and Kato, GEQ has met the technical and manufacturing qualifications for remanufacturing equipment to the same standards and performance equivalent as the new equipment. GEQ remanufactures brands, such as ABB, Baylor, CAT, EMD, Reliance, Siemens, Toshiba and WEG. In addition to the oil and gas industry, the company serves customers in the chemical, marine, railroad and cement industries.
