History
The Round Rock Express played its first season in 2000. The Express are a part of the Pacific Coast League, which consists of 16 teams. The team plays 72 home games at The Dell Diamond, one of the premier ballparks in all of Minor League Baseball. Features include 8,496 chair back seats and 30 luxury suites, a grass berm, swimming pool, kids zone, a LED videoboard, the 10,000 square-foot United Heritage Conference Center, and a stadium club. The team is owned by Ryan Sanders Baseball, with Nolan Ryan being the principal owner. In September 2010, the Express announced a new Major League Baseball affiliation with the Texas Rangers. Ryan-Sanders majority owner Nolan Ryan is Texas Rangers President and Co-Owner, making the Rangers and Express partnership a natural fit.
