Since 1964, the Demeris family has been serving authentic, mouth-watering barbecue in Houston, Texas. Our signature menus and service are now available in both our restaurant locations and from our full-service catering and event-planning division. We are the same Demeris family who provided friendly service and fine-quality food for many years at Carol’s Kitchen on South Shepherd and Shipley’s Grill on West Gray, and we are the second generation of the Demeris clan to offer the family’s signature barbecue to Houstonians. We have spent a lifetime in training with our parents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and cousins; and now, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the restaurant conceived and built by our father and uncle, Gus Frank Demeris, and his siblings, we wish to honor their legacy and maintain our position as one of Houston’s great restaurant families.
