History

In 2010, Fail Jewelry began in the back of another little retail space, Schatzelein, in South Austin. A few years later, I made the hard decision of closing that location and moving into a private East Austin studio to further focus on growing our wholesale and online retail business. Now, eight years later, Fail Jewelry needed a retail outlet yet again, and we opened our flagship store off Cesar Chavez. By opening this shop, I'm not only able to showcase my entire collection, but I'm also able to continue expanding in new directions -- including the launch of our new wedding and engagement ring line.

Specialties

*Now Open By Appointment Only * As a 20+ year resident of Austin, jewelry designer Christine Fail has called East Austin home for 12 years and has rooted her studio in this community. After 5 years with a storefront on Cesar Chavez, the Fail Jewelry is currently open by appointment in our East Austin studio while we look for another retail outlet. Christine's mission is to provide quality handmade jewelry at accessible price points with an aesthetic focused on understated elegance, attention to line and proportion, and an organic, yet delicate feeling. Her Epic collection is crafted in 14k gold and focuses on everyday essentials of heirloom quality forged hoops, hooks, and studs coupled with unique alternative wedding and ceremony rings for the modern couple.

Really beautiful and practical pieces. I wear my fail collective earrings daily. It's a great affordable boutique. Quality of the jewelry rivals those that are three times the price.
