Ray Jimenez joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2022, following a 23-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Ray understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Ray has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy and a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Texas A&M - University of Central Texas and Executive Leadership certifications from Harvard and MIT. He holds Series Security Industry Essentials, Series 7, and Series 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Texas. Ray is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. Active in his community, Ray is a member of West Point Society of the Heart of Texas and serves as an officer on the boards of two non-profits. In his free time, Ray enjoys running, rock climbing, and spending time with family. Gavin Plowman joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in April 2025, following a 9-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of 1LT. Gavin understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. A graduate of Buena Vista University with a bachelor's degree in political science, Gavin holds Series 6, 63 & 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Texas, Iowa & Nebraska. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Gavin serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. His thorough knowledge of military pay and benefits enables him to advise clients on how to navigate the Blended Retirement System, properly allocate their contributions to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), and take full advantage of other benefits. Gavin will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. In his free time, Gavin enjoys spending time with friends, family and watching movies. Byron Rogers joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in August 2015, following a 27-year career in the United States Army, where he retired as a Master Sergeant. Having received a Master of Science degree in Management, Byron holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses, plus state life and health insurance licenses. Byron is committed to helping his clients pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. In his free time, he enjoys weight training and playing music.
