H-E-B Foods, located in Elsa, Texas, is one of more than 150 H-E-B retail grocery stores located in Texas and Mexico. The Elsa store offers a large selection of private label and name brand meats, produce, dairy, bakery, and health and beauty items. It also has a photo center, Western Union and utility bill payment center. The store s parent company, H. E. Butt Grocery Company, was established in 1905 and has headquarters in San Antonio. Together, H-E-B stores form one of the largest independent grocery chains in the United States.
