Wesleyan Homes, established in 1962, is a nonprofit ministry of the United Methodist Church. It provides health care services and support programs for senior citizens. The programs offered by the ministry include independent and assisted living, Alzheimer s disease care, rehabilitation, respite and hospice care. It provides physical, occupational, respiratory and speech therapies and podiatry, dentistry and optometry services. The ministry undertakes psychiatric evaluations, medication monitoring, case management, rehabilitation and emergency health care. It also provides dietary counseling and information on fitness and disease prevention. In addition, the ministry organizes workshops, outings, picnics and parties. Its campus, located in Georgetown, Texas, has a variety of amenities that include lounge and dining area, a library, an exercise room, a beauty shop and a chapel.
