HistoryAngela Nations studied the Erick Hawkins Modern Dance technique at Texas State University, in addition to jazz and ballet and other styles. She studied Belly Dance under the direction of internationally acclaimed Belly Dancer Karen Barbee Adkisson and taught at her studio in San Antonio, TX. Angela was a finalist in the SW Belly Dance Superstars competition. She is currently based in Austin, TX and performs nationally.SpecialtiesAngela Nations is a professional Austin belly dancer with extensive formal dance training and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre and Dance. Angela is currently a national choreographer and performer, dancing Tribal Fusion, ATS (American Tribal Style), ITS (Improvisational Tribal Style), and Egyptian styles. She also teaches workshops throughout Texas and private Belly Dance classes in the Austin area.
