Our son has been doing coding at this place for over a year now and he absolutely loves it. It's pretty much the highlight of his Saturday. He's picked up python and made some great friends here.

Support the Girls The Bylaws of Austin Girls Choir provide adults of the Austin community with a wonderful opportunity to become involved in the growth and support of this fine organization. Any person eighteen years of age or older may become a Friend of Austin Girls Choir upon approval of the Membership Committee of the Board of Directors and payment of the annual membership dues ( $30.00 ). Austin Girls Choir, the nonprofit 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) corporation, supports two choirs that provide topnotch musical education and performance opportunities for girls aged eight through eighteen. Choristers from Austin and surrounding communities join the Choir through audition, and make written commitments to participate regularly in rehearsals and performances. The girls represent a broad socioeconomic range ; several require assistance with tuition and expenses ( funded in part by Friends of AGC dues ). Choir ensembles sing frequently in Austin and tour twice per year. Friends of AGC may join at any time during the year. The Annual Meeting is held on or close to the first Friday in September. At this meeting, the Friends, who are members of the corporation of Austin Girls Choir, elect the Board of Directors ( each director to serve for one year ), and receive reports regarding organizational progress and goals. Friends also receive a quarterly newsletter, advance notice of upcoming performances, and opportunities to enjoy special concerts. Those who wish to become more actively involved are encouraged to participate in various committees devoted to fundraising and promotions for the Choir's performing groups, volunteer for minor tasks, and assist with recruitment efforts. Please write Friend of AGC in the memo section. If you would like additional information, please leave a message on the Choir's telephone voicemail at 512 ) 453-0884, and our Membership Committee Chairperson will contact you. The Holt, Rinehart and Winston Scholarships have been available since September 2004 to choristers in financial need. These range from partial- to full-tuition scholarships, and may also include funding of performance-specific needs. We are pleased to announce the recent award of another $2, 500 from Holt, Rinehart and Winston, which will help support Austin Girls Choir choristers through August 2009.
