Operational since 1969, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is a medical educational institution that provides education, health care and research. Based in Odessa, Texas, it provides its services through different schools such as allied health sciences, biomedical sciences, medicine, nursing and pharmacy. The university has also established institutes including, Rural and Community Health, Aging, Environment/ Human Health and Women's Health.
