Dallas, TX 75205

Lakeside Park in Dallas, TX is a picturesque destination spanning over 14 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds along Turtle Creek. With its well-maintained walking paths and numerous benches, it offers visitors the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll and a chance to soak in the scenic views. The park features a charming bridge atop the Turtle Creek Dam, whimsical Teddy Bear statues, and the serene Read Memorial, providing a tranquil escape from the bustling city.

Currently closed for improvements until Spring 2024, Lakeside Park will undergo enhancements such as improved grading and drainage, landscaping, sidewalk connections, bench pad locations, and an ADA accessibility ramp. The rehabilitation efforts will focus on areas where tree coverage, pedestrian traffic, and ducks have affected the existing sod and ground cover. Stay updated on the progress of Lakeside Park's improvements by visiting the project updates page.
