Very rude and disrespectful, does not know what he's doing. He just wanted to come out to make a key and not diagnose the issue first as I requested.

Key works. Lol what more is there to say. The owner works outside of his car trunk. Really nice guy. Give it a try. It's a basic key, no push button or remote unlocking functions but it's worth it.
