Plains Cotton Cooperative Association is a farmer-owned, cotton marketing cooperative that markets more than 3 million bales of cotton each year. It also owns denim mills in Littlefield and New Braunfels, Texas, and cotton warehouse operations in Altus, Okla., and Sweetwater, Texas. PCCA operates three divisions: the Marketing Division, the Pool Division and the Electronic Marketing Division. The cooperative was founded in 1953 by a group of farmers and has headquarters in Lubbock, Texas.
