RWB's Chow Bus started in the fall of 2017 in Austin, TX. The owner, Kris Vandenberg, dreamed of bringing Chicago and Midwest style food to the city of Austin. Born and raised in Illinois a majority of his life, Kris wanted to incorporate his love for Chicago and his experience in the U.S. Army into his menu. TJ Zelek, partner and Executive Chef came on in December of 2017 with his culinary concoctions and delightful masterpieces honed from working with the Weber Grill Co. in Chicago. The two boys from Illinois hope they bring a little bit of their home to the delight of Austin.

There was barely any meat in the sandwich I ordered and the lettuce had dirt on it. Ridiculous! I would have insisted on a refund if I had time. Never again.

This food bus comes to our work site on a regular basis. The food is mediocre at best. Today the chicken avocado sandwich was mostly bun and the fries were still raw. I'll be getting in my car...
