Robert E. Lee Middle School, opened in 1948, offers educational classes in math, science, social studies and language arts. Its elective subjects include art, band, career investigations, family and consumer science, orchestra, choir, cheerleading, Spanish and theater arts. Robert E. Lee Middle School also conducts special programs in content mastery and functional skills. The school employs a staff of more than 95 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes a social worker, technology facilitator, psychologist, parent liaison, drug counselor, speech pathologist, special education instructor and custodians. Located in Grand Prairie, Texas, Robert E. Lee Middle School teaches students in grades six through eight and is a part of the Grand Prairie Independent School District.
