The Ingleside Volunteer Fire Department serves more than 9,000 residents of south Texas and is located in Ingleside, Texas. It offers fire protection, search and rescue and extrication services. The department maintains aerial trucks, tankers and engines and conducts a fire prevention program. It also organizes a fire and emergency services exposition that features an antique engine competition and fire escape plans. The Ingleside Volunteer Fire Department offers a comprehensive all-hazard emergency management program that includes mitigation, response and recovery planning. It additionally conducts the Fire Corps program, which allows community members to offer their time and talents to their local fire departments. The Ingleside Volunteer Fire Department covers an area of over 10 square miles.
