The Tipsy Turtle is Galveston Islands newest Open-Air, upscale, Beach Bar & Grill; we can be found on the west side about 5 miles west of 61st St behind the Holiday Inn Vacation Club, boasting some of the best views on the Galveston Island. At the Tipsy Turtle, we take a lot of pride about our food and have a full menu to include several seafood dishes we also can mix up one of or favorite frosty drinks or just enjoy an Ice-cold Beer. The Tipsy turtle can be your entire day destination we have plenty of free parking, Beach rental Chairs, Umbrella and toys and while you are relaxing at the Tipsy Turtles sandy and clean beach, while there you can take advantage of our beach side beverage services or play some of the many games on our 4000 sq ft deck. New for 2019 Tipsy Turtle will have Live Music and serve breakfast and beach Bomb fire for the kids young and old on Friday and Saturday. Keep a eye on our FB page for live updates and changes.

Obviously a great spot, but everything ride suffers a bit because of it. Shrimp platter just had 6 small shrimp. Prices aren't too high, but too high for that amount of food. Great views though....

This open air bar & restaurant is a fun place to stop for a great drink and quick bite to eat. The service may be slow due to staffing but. hey, you are suppose to be chilling at the beach anyway....

Caught our server Ms. Kristy on her last day! We had a wonderful time and ours pups were welcomed with open arms. Ian is a fun bartender and the staff was so friendly! 10/10 would come back :)
