Travis Intermediate School

Established in 2007, Houston Elementary School is governed by the Conroe Independent School District and is located in Conroe, Texas. The school teaches a variety of subjects, such as language arts, math, science, social studies, computer technology, health fitness, music and technology. It offers academic classes in prekindergarten through grade four and has an annual enrollment of more than 600 students. Houston Elementary School organizes several extracurricular activities, such as Friday assemblies and attendance awards, as well as bilingual, rising stars, reading recovery and renaissance programs. It operates a parent-teacher club that organizes parent sessions, literacy coaches and field trips with the principal. In addition, the school maintains the Title I reading lab.
