The company produces titanium sponge and melted products for commercial and aerospace applications. It has operations in the United States, Canada, Germany, Belgium, Norway, the Netherlands and Taiwan. Valhi was founded in 1932 and is headquartered in Dallas. The company is a subsidiary of Contran.
