Mears Group provides engineering and technical services, construction services, horizontal directional drilling and metro services to the pipeline, utility, fiber and water industries. Established in 1970, its operating companies are Mears/CPG and Mears/HDD. Mears/CPG provides construction, rehabilitation and corrosion control services for the pipeline industry. Mears/HDD is an international directional drilling and engineering contractor with more than 50 rigs working in the pipeline, utility, fiber and water industries. In addition to project management and construction management services, Mears personnel pioneered the principles of Pipeline Integrity management and External Corrosion Direct Assessment in the early 1990's. Mears Group maintains headquarters in Rosebush, Minn., and has additional offices in Chicago, Houston, San Ramon, Calif., Scottsdale, Ariz., Canada, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.
