Winedale is home to numerous nineteenth-century wooden structures including five homes, a one-room schoolhouse, a rare four-square barn, and three log cabins. The property is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, a State Antiquities Landmark, and on the National Register of Historic Places. Located on 225 acres of Blackland Prairie and Post Oak Savannah, the site also features the Gideon Lincecum Master Naturalists pollinator garden and nature trail, and the Texas AgriLife orchards and weather station.
