About Dr. Shuchi Desai Shuchi Desai, MD is a trusted and reliable OB-GYN caring for the Plano, Texas community. She grew up in Houston, Texas and attended The University of Texas in Austin, graduating magna cum laude. She then went on to attend medical school here in Dallas at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and graduated with the honors of Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University in St. Louis, which is recognized as one of the best programs in the nation. While in residency she served in medical missions in Ethiopia and Guatemala.
