South Pittsburg, TN
South Pittsburg is a city in Marion County, Tennessee, United States. It is part of the Chattanooga, TN–GA Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 3,295 at the 2000 census. South Pittsburg is home to the National Cornbread Festival.
A post office was established with the name "South Pittsburg" on May 23, 1876. The city was named in honor of the industrial heritage of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
